Following on the smash success of a niche horror Don't Breathe, this sequel takes a titular character and gives him a fine arc. I'll keep this short to avoid spoilers
The protagonist is a blind veteran who is practically John Wick. Most of the movie is shot in near-pitch black conditions, making me strain my eyes. There is a couple of nice twists too but the movie is way too dark for my liking.
As opposed to Don't Breathe, the sequel shows the movie from the blind man's perspective. I think it would have been better to do a similar narration as the first movie and show it from the outsiders' viewpoint or at least combine the two to announce the twists.
I didn't like the fact there was so much shooting in the movie, not because I have a gun-phobia but because it didn't make sense in the movie.
